Deirdre “Dee Dee” Lynn Hurley Fletcher of Liberty, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Casey County Hospital. She was 56 years of age.
Born May 27, 1961 in Fort Wayne, Indiana, she was the daughter of Betty Preece and the late Fredrick Hurley.
Survivors include her mother, Betty Preece of Kermit, West Virginia; two sons, Thomas Joseph Fletcher of Mt. Olivet, Kentucky; and Zachary Dewey (Emily) Fletcher of Maysville, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Jasmine Fletcher of Mt. Olivet, Kentucky, Brettley Fletcher and Bradden Fletcher of Mayville, Kentucky. Deirdre is also survived by two sisters, Vivian Ross of Inez, Kentucky, and Sonya Hurley of Kermit, West Virginia; and a host of family and friends.
In addition to her father, Deirdre was preceded in death by her brother, Dexter Berndt.
Per Dee Dee’s wishes, cremation rites were honored by McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
