Curtis Velmer Corn of Hustonville, Kentucky, passed away on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at Liberty Care Center. He was 82 years of age.
Born May 18, 1935 in Casey County, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Carol Price and Lena Jane Patton Corn. Curtis was a farmer and member of Mt. Salem Baptist Church. Curtis enjoyed deer hunting and hanging out at Hardees.
Survivors include his beloved wife, Emma Humes Corn, whom he married May 27, 1967; two sisters, Louise Bates and Shirley Lane, both of Liberty; a special niece, Saphronia Hines; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Curtis was preceded in death by three brothers, Hershel, Hollis, and Fairley Corn; and one sister, Roxie Dalton.
Funeral services are 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Brother Kevin Pittman officiating. Burial will follow in Junction City Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M.-2:00 P.M. Tuesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
