Brendan Michael Hill, of Liberty, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington. He was 39.
Born on November 22, 1978, in Norman, Oklahoma, he was a son of Eric (Susan) Hill of Mantua, Utah, and Marilynn (Jeff) Scherer of Rio Rancho, New Mexico. Brendan was an Aerospace Engineer. He was an Elder in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Brendan was a talented musician that had his own band named “Metaluna.” He was also an Eagle Scout. He loved to serve others and had a great sense of humor. He was a devoted son, husband and father to his children.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his beloved wife, Rebekah Gaddy Hill of Liberty; five sons, David, Charles, Jonathan and Logan, of Alabama, and Glen, of Idaho; two daughters, Hannah of Alabama and Ula Belle of Liberty. Other survivors include two sisters, Rachael Hill-Alan (Bart) of California and Kellie Scherer of New Mexico; and five brothers, Nathaniel Hill of Utah, Matthew Hill of New Mexico, Jeremiah (Gentry) Hill of Liberty, Benjamin (Diana) Hill of New Mexico, and Collin Scherer of New Mexico.
The funeral service will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Crenshaw officiating. Burial will follow in Glenwood Cemetery in Liberty, Kentucky.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.
