Bobby Joseph Sharp

Bobby Joseph Sharp, of Jeffersonville, Kentucky, formerly of Casey County, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Casey County Hospital in Liberty. He was 70.

Born on April 3, 1948, in Marion County, Indiana, he was a son of the late Oscar Lee and Thelma “Rae” Meeks Sharp. Bobby was a welder and a truck driver. He drove for NEAT Trucking for several years.

He is survived by two daughters, Missy Owens of Columbia and Margaret Sharp of Lincoln County; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a special son, Bobby Lee Sharp of Monticello.

In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Singleton; and three brothers, Dewell B. Sharp, Bill Sharp and Lester Sharp.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Maupin officiating. Burial will follow in South Fork Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, July 22, 2018, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions of sympathy may be made to McKinney-Brown Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
