Carolyn Sue McDonald, 69, of Woodbury, TN passed away Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at St. Thomas Rutherford. She was a native of Liberty, KY.
Carolyn was born on March 2, 1948 in Liberty, KY. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, James D. McDonald of Woodbury; children, Tammy (Tim) Young of McMinnville, Tim (Karonica) McDonald of Murfreesboro, Steve (LeeAnn) McDonald and Coby (Susan) McDonald both of Liberty, KY.; Grandchildren, Tiffany Smith, Travis Young, Tyler McDonald, Tristan Adcock, Hannah McDonald, Baylen Hill, Caroline McDonald, Tatum Young, Caleb McDonald & Benjamin McDonald; Great Grandchildren, Halle Drue Smith, Maverick Smith, Lennox Smith, Demi Adcock, Camille Young, Haddie Adcock, Titus McDonald & Levi Young; Family Friend, Gary Whitworth of Woodbury; Siblings, Danny Buis and Judy Smith of Liberty, KY., Rita Johnson of Science Hill and Nancy Thomas of Somerset, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Berlin & Ella Mae Thompson Buis; Brother, Eugene Buis and Granddaughter, Ella Grayson McDonald.
A member of the Pleasant Ridge Church of Christ, Carolyn was known for her love of children, including her own and many others she helped raise over 30 years of being the owner-operator of Tammy’s Tots to Teen.
Funeral Services will be 11 am Saturday, November 25, 2017 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, Liberty, KY with Bro. Thaddeus Eubank officiating. Interment will follow in the Rich Hill Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 4:30 pm – 9:00 pm Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Woodbury Funeral Home, Woodbury, TN.; 5:00 pm – 9 pm Friday, November 24, 2017 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, Liberty, KY.
