Ida Mae Stephens Bledsoe

Ida Mae Stephens Bledsoe passed away Friday February 22, 2013 at the Liberty Care Center . She was 81.

Born May 16, 1931 in Casey County, KY, she is the daughter of the late Lewis and Etta Sallee Peavley. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Ida Mae is the widow of Vertis Stephens and Cleo Bledsoe.

Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Sherrill (and Martha ) Stephens and Dennis Wayne ( and Debra) Stephens both of Liberty; two daughters, Pamela (Leon ) McQueary of Liberty and Sheila Wimmer of Eubank; several grandchildren ; and several great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she is preceded in death by four sons, Gary, Larry, Donald and Ronald Stephens; daughter, Dale Tucker; brother, William Peavley; and sister, Nettie Stephens.

Funeral services are 1:00 P.M. Tuesday February 26, 2013 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home with Bro. Bearl King officiating. Burial is at Williams Cemetery.

Visitation is Tuesday from 10:00 a.m.to 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donation may be given to the funeral home to offset funeral expenses.
